Americanhaidakhansamaj.org On the occasion of Earth Day, April 22, the American Haidakhandi Samaj is reaching out to members to collectively participate in the Love Our Earth Project, an initiative of the Samaj that benefits nature and the environment in your area.     Babaji said: "Wherever you live, you must work hard to provide whatever your country lacks." (Teachings of Babaji, p. 121).     In observance of Earth Day, a global day of action, the Samaj encourages the Babaji community to take steps to lessen the crucial challenges facing nature and the environment. This forum is dedicated to sharing ways to conserve resources and energy, as well as pro-active ways to care for our earth.   Babaji was known to be frugal and conservative with resources. He asked devotees to save nails from buildings, save boxes and wrapping paper from gifts, etc. to be reused and repurposed. You are invited to share your activities of conservation to reduce our footprint on mother earth.
